![]() ![]() Jimmy chose not to integrate Jill Stein into his comedy, as he had with Bernie, Hillary, and (sort of) Trump. ![]() This is base political opportunism, and Jimmy's comedy belies it. ![]() What purpose can this serve, other than to score points with some ultralefties, or as a misguided attempt to punish the Democrat party by spitefully adopting Stein's Ben Carson-like novelty candidacy, or to corral some protest votes for the Green Party, or some other not-well-thought-out strategy? Jimmy too eagerly jumped on the Green bandwagon, trying to distract voters into thinking they can vote against diffuse lefty bugaboos like "neoliberalism" while risking giving massive political power and access to the *actual* allied forces of racism and misogyny behind Trump. ![]() He adopted Jill Stein's "lesser evilism" (really just a form of both-sides-do-itism) technique of dishonestly obfuscating and distorting Hillary's record to make her out to be worse than Trump, an extremely irresponsible move given the stakes in this election. Now in the 2016 election Jimmy has gone from being the guy making fun of "both sides do it" to being just another spokesman for it. ![]()
